Astrological transits help identify future trends and developments through the interpretation of the ongoing planetary motion as they transit through the horoscope (and sky). The most common way of forecasting the future using astrological transits is to prepare a natal chart. Astrologers will pay particular attention to the different houses, signs, and aspects throughout the chart to help lay out a possible future.
Predictive astrology also involves astrological progressions. When astrological progressions are used for the future forecast, the astrological pattern will indicate phases in a person’s life and depending on the relationship among planets and houses at that point, any number of possibilities may arise. The purpose of astrology in the future forecast is to help guide individuals through life, influencing the choices they make and the methods used in shaping their lives.
