Sign Qualities

Simply put, the Cardinal Signs take action. These signs show us where in life we will tend to take action. As the name may attest, the Fixed Signs prefer stability and structure and can be quite stubborn. These signs show us how and where in life we will tend to stand fast and firm under pressure. In general, people with an emphasis on Fixed Signs will prefer to preserve the status quo, efficiently organize situations, and enjoy owning things. The Fixed Signs include Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, and Aquarius.

Mutable Signs
In contrast to what the name may cause you to think, the Mutable Signs are actually communicators. These signs are adaptable, willing to compromise, and are people oriented. Between the Cardinal and Fixed Signs, Mutable Signs may actually be the peace-keepers. People with an emphasis on Mutable Signs will seek change, renewal, and will focus on tasks at hand as long as they remain interesting, since Mutable Signs tend to become bored very easily. The Mutable Signs include Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces.
